Group lessons are an excellent way to introduce your children to the water, begin developing skills and save some money. In fact, we started Provo Swim by offering group lessons. And although private lessons allow faster progress, we still and will always believe in offering solutions for every income and desire. View our calendar to find out when group classes are offered.

Classes We Offer

Skills Taught | Class Description |

| Parent & Child H2O Ages 1 to 3 yrs |
Introduction to Water Safety | This class is for children who have either little or no water experience and is designed to help infants or toddlers become comfortable in and around the water with a parent or guardian. This class teaches parents techniques to help orient their children to water activities in a safe manner. This class is NOT designed to teach children to become good swimmers or to survive in the water on their own. This course is based on demand, so please let us know if you are interested. |
| Tadpoles (Level 1) Ages 3 to 5 |
Introduction to Water Skills | Skills taught at this level include but are not limited to: submersion, floating with support, underwater exploration, entering and exiting the water, and water safety. |
| Guppies (Level 2) Ages 5 to 7 |
Fundamental Aquatics | Skills taught at this level include but are not limited to: floating without support, underwater exploration, gliding, swimming on front and back, and treading water. |
| Angel Fish (Level 3) Ages 7 to 9 |
Stroke Development | Skills taught at this level include but are not limited to: rotary breathing, front and back crawl, elementary backstroke, and butterfly kick. |
| Sting Rays (Level 4) Ages 9 to 11 |
Stroke Improvement | Skills taught at this level include but are not limited to: breaststroke, butterfly, swimming underwater, open turns and treading water. |
| Piranhas (Level 5) Ages 12 & older |
Stroke Refinement | Skills taught at this level include but are not limited to: front and back crawl, butterfly, breaststroke, sidestroke, and flip turns. |
Important Notes
Goggles are not required but recommended and can be purchased here Please be dressed in a swimsuit and be ready to begin each class at the scheduled time.
